Blists Hill Victorian Town is a 52 acre open-air museum comprising of old dwellings, shops, alleyways, industrial factories, mine-shafts, tunnels, canal tow path and woodland.
Built on a former 19th century industrial site in Shropshire, this is a rare place indeed.
As soon as you step onto the High street you feel transported back to the age of steam with all of the sights, sounds and smells of a Victorian town in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The museum contains many authentic buildings recovered from various towns and villages in the local area. Painstakingly taken down brick by brick and rebuilt here...and it seems that echoes of past events within still linger. The industrial buildings here are original to the site itself and have bore witness to multiple deaths. This combination of haunted buildings rebuilt on an already haunted site has created one of the most unique and intriguing opportunities we have ever offered.

The spirits frequenting this place are an all too familiar sight for staff and volunteers...and is it any wonder? some of these buildings bore witness to murder, suicide and infant death...their introduction to this already haunted plot of land has only fuelled the activity.
Many have experienced unusual events from poltergeist activity to full apparitions.

At HD Paranormal we know what makes a good investigation, and will always ensure Minimal Noise Pollution during our investigations. This site is vast and once the gates close there are no members of the public. We will break into SMALL groups to conduct vigils and activities which will further reduce noise pollution and help us gather great evidence! Finally in our groups we will visit completely different buildings or areas of the site ensuring we don't pick up noise from our fellow investigators.
Guests are invited to bring along their own equipment and will have a designated room in which to leave kit. However, please bear in mind that it is usually best to only bring what you can comfortably carry with you, and remember some of these shops/buildings are small.
