A MYSTICAL RETREAT FOR THOSE LOOKING TO DEEPEN THEIR CONNECTION WITH MOTHER EARTH
Accommodation
Our home for 2 days and nights will be a beautiful Jacobean manor house surrounded by fields with far reaching views across the river Yeo. The house benefits from under floor heating, TV room, games room, dining hall, sumptuous bedrooms and 17 acres of private fields and woodland to explore.
Outside there are 17 acres to explore not to mention the glorious views across to the village and river Yeo.
The Isle of Avalon
An epicentre for pagan and spiritual practises, there is nowhere more rooted in magickal practise than Glastonbury.
Glastonbury has a mystical history going back into the mists of time. Sacred sites and power spots surround this small town and their spiritual energies weave together to create a nurturing ambiance of peacefulness and joy that permeates the entire area. Considered to be the heart chakra of the world and an entrance point into higher dimensions, its special features draw healers and other spiritual pilgrims from all over the world.
Glastonbury Abbey & Chalice Well
It's said that beneath the hill there's a hidden cave through which you can pass into the fairy realm of Annwn. There dwells Gwyn ab Nudd, the lord of the Celtic underworld, with the Cauldron of Rebirth.
Later tradition has it that the Holy Grail lies here, brought by Jesus’ uncle, Joseph of Arimathea. The Cauldron and the Grail were both the object of quests for King Arthur and his knights.
Believed by many to be a transitional point between the physical realm and a magickal kingdom, the energy of this place cannot be denied.
During our day in Glastonbury we shall also visit the Abbey, rumoured to be the resting pace of King Arthur and his Guinevere, for lunch before touring the Abbey ruins. There will also be time for some much anticipated shopping in the towns many wonderful magickal shops!
Magical Crafting
Throughout this wonderful weekend you will spend time in nature, hand making some magical items to take home including your very own Bridgids Imbolc Cross. You will work with focus and positive intent while crafting, infusing the energies of the surrounding landscape with your own vibrations to create items that are personal and connected to you.
You will learn ancient techniques, reaching deep within your own spirituality.
Sound Healing & Crystal Therapy
We are delighted to have Sound and Crystal Energy Therapist Kelly Kennedy joining us for this magical weekend. Kelly will host a wonderful Sound Healing session for us in our beautiful private surroundings.
Sound therapy is effective in achieving deep states of relaxation & also can help to move through blockages within the bio-energy field.
Within this immersive experience I will use various sound healing instruments, including Tibetan bowls, Crystal bowls, Gongs, Drums, Ocean drum, Tuning forks, Shakers & Chimes to create your unique treatment, for deep healing & meditation.
