ROLE:

Social Media Officer (home based)​

​

MAIN DUTIES: 

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Officer to join our team. As a Social Media Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence, improve and maintain engagement across platforms and attract new audiences to our content. You will be working closely with the Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement and monitor our social media strategy

  • Create engaging content across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

  • Identify key millennial influencers and form partnerships where appropriate

  • Identify new audiences including groups and pages

  • Moderate during live streams, promote engagement and boost reach

  • Monitor social media insights, identifying successes and suggest changes where necessary

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a similar role ideally or previously studied social media and/or online media marketing.

  • Familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media best practices

  • Understanding of SEO 

  • Excellent multitasking skills

  • Critical thinker with problem-solving skills

  • Good time-management skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

  • Willing to attend regular Zoom meetings

  • Your own laptop/desktop computer/tablet and good Wifi connection.

  • Ability to commit 5+ hours per week

WHAT YOU'LL GET:

  • This role will be voluntary initially for an 8 week trial period after which you will be paid 25% commission (details discussed with candidates)

  • You will be working with one of the most well respected and established paranormal companies in the UK

  • You will get opportunities to join us on team-only investigations across the UK as well as a FREE place on public events

  • You will be supported in your role by HD Paranormal's Director Jayne Harris who you will work closely with to develop an ongoing Social Media plan.
